BEEN A LONG TIME...

Hey everyone, it's definitely been quite some time since I've last posted in my journal. As an update I would like to inform everyone about my beer blog, yes that's right a blog about beer. I love it and I will be reviewing random beers throughout the world periodically. Feel free to stop by and indulge in some beer reviews as well as history!!

GET INTO IT!!!!!

JUNO

I watched Juno yesterday and all I have to say is, how the hell did this movie get nominated for best picture? It's by no means a terrible film, but it's way too out of touch with reality. Parental reactions with teen pregnancy I feel would be equivalent with the stages of death. Freaking out at first and then finally reaching acceptance. However, some parents may not get past the first few stages. Romanticizing pregnancy is not necessarily what I expected coming into the picture. However, the one aspect of the film that I felt immensely was the heart/charm aura the film radiates. The movie definitely gushes charm.

NEW LOVE

I have a new love in my life, and that love is Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. The combination of beer and lemonade is surprisingly good. This drink will dominate my Summer.

BEEN LONG TIME

HELLO EVERYONE,

It's definitely been quite a while since I have posted within this bad boy, and I felt it appropriate to give anyone who cares a heads up on how my life has been panning out until this point. Working at New Trier High School as many know, has been a life changing experience. Not only financially, but mentally and educationally as well. I'm looking into getting a Masters/Teaching Certificate at Northeastern University. They have a Masters program I am heavily interested in, I just don't know if in conjunction to the program I can also get my teaching certificate. I assume I will be able to, but will confirm it sometime this week. Being a lacrosse coach for the Freshman Bombers has also been quite rewarding so far. The team has a nice pool of talent that will easily compete with many other school's A teams and I feel we should finish the season on a high note. Our first game is a week from tomorrow I believe against Notre Dame, it should be an easy win. This summer I'm planning on moving somewhere in Chicago with my cousin Kate and her friend Katie, this I am definitely looking forward to because we will have a ton of fun together. Other than that, I really enjoy beer. How things have changed once I landed a really solid job. Ever since then I've strayed away from the straight edge path pretty hard, and I don't regret this decision. Beer is tasty. Until next time, stay loose, stay cool, but most of all stay rock hard because it's the only way to be!!! - Mark Mensching (Rock Hard Videos) Quote from the best public access TV show in the Chicagoland area ever.

INTERESTING CALL

Today at work I received a random interesting call. A member of a band called Toast required some assistance with filming a music video. A music video that will be submitted upon thousands of others to the show "America's Got Talent." So basically I'm going to film and edit this thing, then put it up on youtube. Will they get recognized, probably not, but I have bragging rights. If you can call it that.... SLAYER!!!!!

COACH CITY

Submitted for the approval of the midnight society I call this story, "Greg Marsh is now a certified coach." BOOM!!! 260 bucks, one clinic, and 3 exams later instantly morphs me into a coach. I love morphing. Now I can successfully lead the Freshman B Lacrosse team for New Trier to victory!!
